i have a small royal pleco....he eats algee tablets aswell as krill........is it ok to feed him krill?....what other food ideas do u have...ne tips would be appreciated

Pretty sure royals are need more meaty foods than many other plecs, so the krill is more what he needs than the algae tabs. You might want to look into a wider variety, including bloodworms, mysis shrimp, and some frozen community formulas.

There are also many driend sinking tablets that are higher in protein, such a shrimp pellets and complete tropical sinking pellets.

Wow. That's not right. I have royals (large and small). Royals are herbivorous. They eat plants. Your best food choices are algae tabs, zuccinni, spanich, some like peas. It will be much happier with these. You could give it some shrimp pellets once in while BUT DO NOT make meat it's main stay diet as it will die. Driftwood is an absolute must them as well.
