I would like to get a cleaner shrimp, probably a scarlet skunk, and would like to know if they'll do well with the fish I have(listed in my sig.). I've been told they only "clean" larger fish, such as tangs and angels. Is this true? Also, are they difficult to keep? Thanks in advance...

A cleaner shrimp is a great addition to any tank. Mine clean all 3 chromis and the coral beauty I have. The 2 clowns won't let him though. He cleans my hand too. Be sure to acclimate. They are delicate creatures.

do you think it would clean my royal gramma and yellow watchman??? I just want to be sure that it will be a good addition to my tank, and especially considering how much they cost($30 at my LFS).....

dont expect all cleaner shrimps to clean fish some dont even attempt it and prefer cleaning the live rock and glass if possible when going to buy one see if u can get one that allready likes to clean fish and i've all so read in many books saying having two cleaner shrimps sometime's helps out as the one by himself may be shy but i have one by himself and his a mad little guy...

From my experience, Royal Grammas are a skittish fish. When I had 1, he wouldn't let anything near him. $30 is really expensive. I paid $20 and I thought that was high.
