Im looking at getting a Won Brothers clean up 125 Protein Skimmer Counterflow Turbo Venturi for a 125gal tank, with a SEN500GA Submersable pump to go on my 50 gal reef tank.
The tank will have 40lb live rock and also has an enternal filter system 'Compact H' which puts out 600 litres per hour with poly pad, active carbon sponge, coarse and fine filter sponges and built in 200W heater.
Does anyone knowof this make of skimmer and if its any good?
And does this load sound like adequte filtration for my tank?
I feel like Im stumbling around in the dark at the moment, dispite doing a lot of reading, everyone seems to be of differng opinion and there are so many products out there and Im afraid of wasting money getting all the wrong things. As its gonna cost me about £1000 before I even start stocking!!
