Does anyone here have any experience with both? How do they compare to each other? Im very happy with the lees product, but I never got a chance to use my python when I had it, so I cant really compare them myself.

I've only used a python, and I think it works incredibly well. However, I've never used anything else so I can't compare either. :)

Ya that's my favorite part of the python. It can also refill the tank. I love it lol

So far as I know, the difference between Lee's and the Python is the filter on the end of the intake on Lee's. Keeps the little ones out of harms way and good for just water changes. Gets in the way of cleaning gravel though, so I swap it out for the intake on manual vac for that purpose.

Yeah that's what I noticed too. The little filter on the end of the gravel vac decreases the system's effectiveness, so I just sawed it off.

Python

I have the Python. My only beef is that the plastic parts could be a little sturdier. They seem a little flimsy and undurable. Then again, they haven't broken down yet. And I leave mine outside, in the cold and under the sun. I just I'll hook it up one day and all of the sudden the plastic will crack.
