My wife and I rented The Village Monday night and we both enjoyed it. It's a typical M. Night Shaymalan(sp) film. Great camera work, angles and such. The plot was cool. This was more of a love story than anything else he's ever done. Of course, now that everyone knows how his flicks work, it's kind of easy to guess the plot twists, but it's still a fun movie.

Also, we rented The Whole Ten Yards, sequel to The Whole Nine Yards. It suffered as most sequels do, by not being as fun as the first one. I didn't feel it was as well written and lacked some of the great ensemble work that really shined in the first film.

So, what have you been watching lately?

Dont watch White noise, it sucks big time, i downloaded The Aviator, that was ok, bit long though, like 3 hours, ill have to download The village and see what its like.

I most recently saw "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou". I thought that it was excellent.
I rented "Warriors of Heaven and Earth" today but haven't gotten around to watching it yet...looks good.

That is interesting harlock, I thought the whole ten yards was much funnier than the whole 9 yards!

Troy is great, Anchorman is great, open water sucks, king arthur is okay, the village is okay, the forgotten is good, Napolean Dynamite was great! Umm I cant remember anything else I have watched lately there are far too many

I just rented Napolean Dynamite. Best comedy of 2004.

Yeah, I've seen all the hype about this flick. Dare I ask what the plot is?

There really isnt a plot! Its just a pointless but entertaining flick!
