Hi all.
I have a three gallon tank which has been cycled and is ok to put fish in now. I thought maybe a betta and two african dwarf frogs would be really nice in there, but there's a couple of issues.
First, I heard that the dwarf frogs need loads of hiding places, so I would need to put lots of plants and stuff in. Unfortunately the tank doesn't have its own light, and doesn't get much light from the little halogen bedside lamp that is next to it, so are there any plants which do well on reduced lighting levels in such a small tank?
Second, the frogs need either frozen or live foods. I don't live very near my LFS unluckily, so I would be lucky to get there once a month, if that. How quickly do ADFs get through frozen food? And is it at all possible to culture your own live food for them?
Thanks!
