i have a 75 gallon tank with a 48 inch 33 watt bulb. I currently have hornwort in my tank and it is doing really well it has been growing alot. What other plants could i put in my current settup?

AFAIK, there is no 48 inch bulb that is 33 watts. Perhaps you meant 32 watts (T8) or perhaps you meant 40 watts (T12)?

I'm surprised that with under 1wpg that your Hornwort grows at all. Is it floating (it would get more light up there, obviously).

I doubt that you'd be able to grow even the most low light tolerant plants with under 1wpg.

this might be true do to your size of your tank. how tall is it?

as per wpg. because of the size this might be a problem, however i do have a 30g 24inch high with 20w (8500K) thats what? 1.5 wpg? and my mellon swords are nice and bright with some leaves branching out. had this for about a month now.

Wildiana, 20W over a 30g is 0.66WPG.

CCchaos04, I'm also surprised any plant, even hornwort, is growing in that amount of light.
If you'd like to get into plants one of the first things to address will be lighting. If your tank is 48" long, you can add quite a bit of light at very little expense by using shop lights from Home Depot. If you've got the budget for it, power compact fluorescent lighting is wonderful, and gives off more light per watt than standard fluorescent lighting.
AFAIK, 1.5WPG or above is needed to keep low - medium light plants successfully, but it does seem that some people have luck with less. More light (2.0-3 WPG) will give you even more choices, but higher light and more demanding plants generally requires the simultaneous use of fertilizers and CO2. If you'd just like to keep a few lower light plants happy without too much extra work, 1.5WPG would probably be fine :)
