I have the coral subsstrate on the floor, but i wanna get live sand. If i get a 50lb of that down south tropical sand, and then like 10lb of live sand, will that be enough to seed it? How long will the sand take to spread the life so to speak? Also, will i be able to put back the live rock over it right away, or will i have to wait for the sand to cure. There are also 2 damsels in there, will they be fine or should i take em out for the process. Also, its a 45g tank, i am not planning on keeping a reef tank, but i do want a skimmer i think just so i can keep like 3 nice looking fish in there, you think that will be needed, or will the live sand and 40lb of live rock be fine. One more thing haha, i just want to get 2-3 fish in there that have nice color, i love yellow tangs but they need much more room, what can u recomend, that will swim around?
