German blue rams

Today i bought a 10 gallon tank and im currently doing a fishless cycle. Aquarium Adventure is having a sale with all fish half off. This sale goes through next sunday. I was wondering if i could buy some german blue rams for this tank.
 
Some would say Rams are OK for a 10. Most would say you need at least a 20 for Rams. This doesn't really matter because you still have 2 or 3 weeks left on your cycle and the sale is over Sunday. From what I understand, Rams aren't particularly hardy fish and living through the end of a cycle may be too rough on them. I won't say NO to Rams for a ten, but I will say there are other (maybe better) options. Whatever you decide on, probably shouldn't happen until your cycle is done.
