Texas Eggs.

My 3.5" male Texas (cyno) and my 6" female carpinte just had eggs today. How long until they hatch? Should i remove the other inhabitents (7" pleco, 5" bumble bee cat, and a 3.5" giant danio)? The tank is a 55G and has plent of cave, plants and rocks.
I really didn't expect then to have eggs at this size. The have been following each other around for about 2 weeks (hated each other before that, then one day, BAM, they're in love), and the male has been doing the shaking thing as well.
I never bred anything before exept Convicts, but could never see what was going on in the cave. The Texas has given me a good view. The eggs are in a flower pot that has a piece of wood held up by 2 big rocks on both sides of the pot. making like a cave.
What kind of parents are these 2 fish in general, and has anyone bred the two before?

i have not breed texas or carpinte before but cichlids as a whole make very good parents and i dont see why they wont be in your case. i would keep a close eye on the other fish as they may end up dead.

Here is a hybrid of a male cyano and female carpinte. They made excellent parents. She is 4 years old.
