Could a combination of these be compatible?

Metriaclima aurora, Labidochromis caeruleus,Labidochromis sp. "perlmutt", Melanochromis johanni, Metriaclima greshakei, Metriaclima lombardoi, Metriaclima sp. "msobo", and Aulonocara sp. "lwanda"

i would want a combination of 3 or 4 of these. I want a male yellow lab and maybe 2 or 3 females of one of these different species. Which of these species would be most compatible. I don't mind if they crossbreed because i dont plan on selling any babies and i probably wont raise any or at least not very many.

First, if you want the peacock (Aulonocara), the only mbuna I would consider mixing with it are yellow labs.

I know the johanni and greshakei are both very agressive and would avoid mixing them with less agressive fish (like the peacock, labs) as they will beat the hell out of them.

Other than that, we need more info to help you make a good decision.

How big of a tank are we talking about? Other inhabitants? Water parameters?

well im currently cycling the tank to get it ready for some cichlids. Im going to put them in my 20 gallon until they get bigger and then i will move them to a bigger tank. Should i get special cichlid substrate or will regular gravel work?
