I bleach dipped a plant for the first time. I have washed it pretty thoroughly and even let it sit in water with dechlorinator for a while. I am leaving the plant in a tub of water overnight just be safe. How can you tell if the bleach is gone? what is the proper way to wash the bleach off a plant that has been dipped? Does it gas off? I think i washed it pretty good anyhow, i just don't want to risk bleach poisoning my tank -
thanks

Assuming you just used bleach, I would suggest gently rub each leave and stem and root until you no longer feel that slimmy feel that bleach leaves.

Once you've rubbed it and no longer feel the bleach, I would then dip it in dechlorinated water, perhaps adding some Prime or other water conditioner and rub each leave stem and root again.
