I need an algea eating fish that will consume brown algea, but will stay generally small. I've been having some trouble keeping the leaves on my anubias alive because of the brown algea(diatoms), and need suggestions on something biological that would help. Lfs recommended chinese algea eaters. These are my tank specs:

55gal
hard alkaline water
25-30 ghost shrimp
9 zebra danio
6 white clouds
cabomba
2 anubias nana
and some hornwart

don't get cae. Bristle nose pleco, and oto cats would do a good job.

I'd get a small group of Otos. They're fantastic at eating algae, including the brown stuff that other fish leave behind, and stay nice and small. Mine spend their days polishing the plant leaves, they're amazingly hard workers, and cute too! :)
