Are they implying that women drive larger vehicles??? :p
Apparently women don't know how to park?
Not true!
I park my Cutlass like a pro ;)

I think they are saying women deserve respect, and therefore we shouldn't park too close to them. uhh yea......thats it.

That picture implies that women are not good at parking, even handicapable folks can park better.
I don't agree with it, that's just what I get out of it.

Well, I am handicapped and I am a woman. No problems with my parking. :D My car did get hit by a man Sat. night. He did leave a note but I haven't called him yet.

All of you are wrong. It's quite obviously a photograph of The Ghost of Lot 4B, and a nice one at that. ;)

Well, I say it is just plain and simple truth. In general women have trouble parking. ICBC has the proof saying 90% of accidents in parking lots are caused by women. And most of those are accidents caused by the woman mis-judging the width of the space and side-swiping the car in the next spot, or backing into a car as they back out of a spot. however I do have to say that men dont tend to frequent shopping center parking lots 1/10th the amount women do, and most of the accidents happen to women over 60 or under 22. I think there are plenty good female drivers out there but I think they just get too excited about shopping and their attention wanders.
Ooooh man I am gonna get an earfull for this hahaha!

My name is Amy. I am a woman. I cannot park!!
Ok, well, let me clarify.... I can park my little subaru like a pro. But if i'm forced to drive my husband's truck for some reason, I save myself the hassle and everyone else the imminent danger, and I just park in the far, FAR back of any parking lot where there are no other cars to avoid...
Oh yea, also, I couldn't parallel park so much as a bicycle to save my life.....
:D

Okay, but what about stats of accidents caused by men? Or young guys to be exact? At least the parking lot ones aren't high speed crashes :p I know it's not all young guys, but a lot is. I have no problem parking any car I have driven. I've successfully parked a '72 chevy blazer, my '86 cutlass supreme, '97 mercury sable, which are all large vehicles, and no problems with the smaller ones either. :) Maybe I'm just awesome, hehe jk.

Labont......................I'll join you in the flames!! :soda:
I find it really funny to watch "people in general" backing out of parking spaces. 90% of drivers have no idea where the rear end of their vehicle actually is. They will make a broken turn to get out of a parking space when the have plenty of room behind them to pull out, turn and drive away in one shot. What's up wit dat??? My feeling is that backing a boat trailer down a boat ramp should be part of every driving test!!! :dance

i think i would be harder to avoid hitting something at a high speed than something that isnt moving i.e. "parked car"

I kinda thought the extra space was so "Mom" could open the doors wide enough to get the kids out of the car, roll the stroller right up to the side and put baby in, get the 800 bags of groceries a little closer to avoid back strain while lugging the charcoal bags and dogfood into the car, etc. While a man only needs the 6 extra inches it takes to squeeze into his car with the 6 pak of beer he had to get when it was forgotten by his "woman". :p :D

I've seen some very 'interesting' situations at boat ramps!

One of my pet peeves is people that can't park. One person parks wrong and then everyone else down the row begins to correct for that first person. Messes up the entire row. I would generalize that women struggle with parking more than men do. I've seen so many college girls whip into a parking spot in which their car is parked in a horizontal manner to the spot or they park their car leaving 3ft of room on their drivers side and 4 inches on the passenger side. I guess it's fine if the car's driver is built like Ally Mcbeal.
