AFAIK, you put one drop in at a time until it reaches its base color. Once it reaches the base color, you THEN start counting the drops it takes to get to the target color. If it takes you 10 drops to get to the base color, and another 6 drops to get to the target color, your reading should be 6.
If Im wrong on this, I have been doing it wrong for a VERY long time.
I have 3 different test kits made by different manufacturers. Each one says "count the # of drops to get FROM color A to color B". I assume this to mean you start your counting once you reach color A and then stop when you reach color B.
The directions for Gh and Kh are the same with the base and target colors being different.
