I have heard a few people talking of a Nano Reef but I have no idea of what it is. If any of you know anything a bout Nano Reefs please respond because i think you can go in a 10 gal tank and I have a 10 gal that is empty and I am looking for a new project.
Thanks:)

Hi! The moderator will probably transfer your post to the reefkeepers Forum or the Marine Newbie forum, simply because a nano Reef is a small-scale reef marine aquarium, featuring reef invertebrates. ("Nano" just means "mini.")
However, a ten-gallon tank might be small even for a "nano" reef.

I thought the same but if you go to nano-reef.com (http://www.nano-reef.com) you will see that members display tanks anywhere from 2.5 gallons to about 15 gallons for "nano-reefs". From what I've read 10 gallons is a good start for a nano.
