Hello, I'm in the process of setting up a 20 gallon long annual killi fish tank. I was just wondering if you could recomend any plants that could take the wet/dry cycle that the fish need to thrive. I plan on letting it dry for a month or two a year. I know that that isn't as long as the African or Asian dry period but, it should be long enough to get their eggs to hatch. I know that there are a couple species of smaller watter lilies that can take it but, other than that everything I can think of gets too big.
Tank info
20 gallon long
hood compact with 6500 k halaides " this was a salt water nano to start with and that's just not something that I want to do."
Growth medium I was going to use sand .
fish annual killies not to sure on species yet what ever I can find.
other critters probably not.
Thank you in advance
Chris

Yes, but I'm not sure that I can answer this correctly. For example, Amazon swords are native to an area where this are dry seasons. So are Anubius. Going from wet to dry, you will probably lose alot of leaf but if the environment is kept hot and humid, they should grow back. Brazilian Swords too! Your swords can be pruned to get them from getting too big.
