double hood for more light

i've orderd a 1x65w for my 29g, however its backed ordored.

so at this time i have a 55w, having problems with brown algae, was told lack of light.

so, took a old hood that my 20g came with. Its takes screw in bulbs, i have 2x25w and put it on the 29g with the 55w.

so i have 55w coming from one hood, and 50w coming out of another.

with my filters and stuff, the 55w sits in the middle of my tank, and the 2x25 sitting upfront of the tank.

will this help me, or cause more problems??

ended up paying 5.00 but worth having it now.
