I have been looking at diy lighting systems and they all have a reflector above the light. Until I have the supplies to produce the lighting I want, I was wondering if temporarily putting tinfoil above my bulb would help. iGrassy-azz!

If by tinfoil you meant aluminum foil, I wouldn't recommend it, as it diffuses, instead of reflecting the light.
I would prefer to use a much more reflective material, such as Mylar (can be found at most hydroponic stores). It's usually a couple bucks (Canadian) for a few feet

White paint is really good with this. It does a good job and I think tinfoil wont be as good as paint.
