Too many fish for a 55 gallon? your opinion.

Do I have too many fish or will they be ok? I have a 55 gallon planted aquarium. Soft water, PH 6.4, 80 degrees, Ammonia 0, Nitrites 0, no CO2. For filtration I have an Aquaclear 300 and a Eheim 2213. I don't use carbon. I also have two hagen double sponge filters. My residents: 2 koi angelfish, 10 rummy nose, 10 cardinals, 3 albino cories, 5 julie cories, 2 panda cories, 5 otos, 5-6 amano shrimp, 1 neritina snail (best algae-eating snail ever). Lots of driftwood and plants. Is it too much for the 55 gallon? I was going to get a 75 used but didn't trust getting such a large tank used, too much potential for horror. Thanks for your advice.

Doesn't sound overstocked to me either, but don't think I'd be looking to add much more to it anytime soon.

It sounds like a really nice mix of fish to me, in both species and quantities. IMO, you are not overstocked.

I agree as well. I would consider you fully stocked right now, though. How often do you do water changes and what are your nitrate levels like? I think it's a good idea to keep those bubble filters running, especially at night with a full load of fish and heavily planted tank (both use O2 at night).
