I have just put 3 Mbuna zebra cichlids ( 1 male and the other 2 look like females but hard to tell just yet ) about 1 1/2 inches long in a 75 Gallon tank.
I have a 10 gallon tank with 7 black skirt tetras in it. They are very territorial and I would like to put 2 or more ( male and female ) in with the cichlids. The tetras are about 1 inch long, maybe a bit longer.

Will they get along with each other?

In the weeks to come I will be adding more Mbuna's, none that are really aggresive.

I think that the tetras would be brutally murdered - plus, their water and food parameters are different.

Wouldn't do it. They might make it from an aggression point of view but if you are keeping your Africans in the kind of water they need the Ph will be too high for the tetra's.

Thanks for the replies. Tetras will stay where they are and maybe I may get a bigger tank for them. They really don't have any room to swim without getting chased...
