I'm with Karnaj on this one. Banana plants are just odd. I love mine, but they are odd.

If algae are allowed, I'd say Marimo balls.

I have to agree with Robert H. On this. I've been strongly considering owning a crinium just like the one he is showing. the only reason I like it is it's downright odd looking.

My banana plant didn't survive the transition from my 20g to my 75g way back when I set it up. I'm feeling inspired to get another one though.

Crinums are neat. Almost alien. The one unusual thing about mine is that my otos seem more attracted to it than me.

If algae are allowed, I'd say Marimo balls

If algea is allowed, I'd say staghorn :sad

But then John could expound on that a bit more than I can.

I wouldn't group marimo balls in that class for real though. Marimo balls are pretty awesome, and definately a little odd.

LOL! Beauty is, as always, in the eye of the beholder. "Unusual" has to be equally personal.

I now have my crinium, (Thanks John, and BTW your 75 is impressive). Lets see how fast I can get it to grow to the top of my 115g.

I cannot disagree, but odd can be a pretty thing or an ugly thing and still be odd.

I'll give staghorn top marks for resilience. No match against bleach though :)
