I have three catfishes in one of my small tanks. It seems these guys are really hardy fishes. I had a ick break out and a fin-rot break out in the tank in the last 4 month. All other fishes are affected; however, these cats seem to be OK and never infected.
Is there anything inherent to them that make them disease prove?
Thanks,
FZ

Suprising that they didn't get ick, most cf do. What type are they?

Whatever was acting as a stressor to your other fish apparently did not bother the cats too much.

I got two pepper cat and one spoted cat. It looks nobody cares to bother them and they just busy finding food at the bottom and never care what happen in the tank.
sometimes I just wondering why nobody seems to bother the cats even the aggressive fishes.

I had a Synodontis catfish that just totally pissed off my Lepomis male. He hated that catfish with a passion and I had to seperate them. Also had a Syno one time that hated other large catfish.
