I was supposed to be setting up a 10g with 6 tiger barbs and a zebra pleco,
but the best pirce I could find was a 2 inch ZP for 249.99 (biting knuckles). Is that the general price or can I find a better deal? If so, what other plecos could I get for a 10g that does not get bigger than about 3-4 inches and has a very very low price $20-35.
 
The current going rate for z plecos seems to start at about $100 for a small one. They prefer warm water- similar to discus. You can usually find them listed on AquaBid.

As for smaller plecos, there are many. You may want to poke around Planet Catfish for info on plecs.
 
LOL yeah i wanted a zebra plec too (until i saw the price on one).

May i suggest L134 (Leopard Frog Pleco)

This was the one of the closest i could find, and doesnt carry the hefty price tag.
 
I've got an L075. The base color is a very vibrant yellow, and the spots are stark contrasting black. It's gorgeous and only ran about $35 for a 3" specimen.
 
Thx, i just called my LFS and they told me to come ask about importing so i will ask about leapord frog and the L075. Thx
