Guys,

I finally decided to spring for an RO unit. For the price, this one:

seems like a great deal.

Any feedback from anyone who has one?

TIA,

Bfons

I would use caution calling this a Reverse Osmosis system, with that much output and no tank. It looks like just a bunch of filters nothing more. True systems this size will only produce 1 or 2 gallons per hour, unless your water is very clean to start with. Membranes that can produce 100 gpd are out there but the systems are a lot more expensive. The membranes alone are over $ 100,00

i was going to get the ro unit that bfons posted. i looked all over the net and asked a whole bunch of ppl and couldnt find any feedback about that brand so i decided against it. the other day i purchased a 75 gpd system from hb water systems, for $180 on ebay, which ive heard is very good. i should be getting it in about a week or so. i'll let ya know how it goes :)

Does anybody have any recommendations on a RO/DI system.

Pardon my ignorance, but in general what kind of container would you let the ro/di fill into. Then from there you would put the water in another container, and then mix the salt before adding it to your aquarium. Is that all done manually or is there a series of pumps and hoses that would move the water along.

Sweet!

I'm sold. Now I need to check my bank account....

I'm using it, as are others that I know of, and no one has reported any problems that I'm aware of.
