I am doubling my CO2 tomorrow, so the progression from week 5 to week 6 should be dramatic. here is how it has gone so far.

looks nice! Your plants look pretty healthy, nice fish too :D

You should get some more driftwood for the back and cover it in anubias or something to hide those hoses. Just don't break the tank up too much, or your tetras might not school.

update: water is dripping into the new CO2 unit, and I can't figure out how to stop it.

yeah, doing the DIY, thanks, I'll try that.

Coming along very nicely! The rotala is stunning and an excellent contrast. I liked the picture from week 3, the actual picture, not the tank, it shows the full tank the best of all. I'm still working out the whole picture taking thing myself...

Oh! Black background! Even a simple black garbage bag stretched tightly (on the outside of the tank!) between the hoses and glass will conceal the hoses and give your tank a much deeper look.

I know, I need to do black background... I will get to it one of these days.

the rotala took off. Its hard to see the val or the crypt I have back there now. I suppose I am waiting for everything to reach the top before I start cutting it back, but I can see myself removing som eo fthe rotala so that the other background plants stnad out more.
