well i have a 180 gal on the way. putting some f/w stingrays in there and a balck ghost knife as my main fish. I've been told Bala Sharks and tinfoils would be ok tankmates. i know both of those fish get to be big, and do best in schools. Wondering how many i could/should put in a 180 gal tank. I also liked Frontosa, any idea if that is too aggressive or if it has similar enough water parameters? looks like it falls right into the same 6-8ph, 75-80F that the rays want. any stocking ideas would be greatly appriciated.

I cannot help you on compatability, oter then to tell you that Bala's and Tin Foil's will get along. In a 180 Gallon Tank, you can put just about any amount you want, I am just not sure what your tankmates will get along with.
I would say about 6 each of Tin Foil's and Bala's, they will be comfortable together in such a large tank.
