I have a 75 gal with dsb, live rock, critters and 20gal refugium. The only fish for now are 2 clowns and 2 flashers. I'm looking for a safe (maybe colorful) star that will stir . Dont want him eating my fish. Ideas

I have both a brittle star and a sandsifting star in my tank. Neither of them has been aggressive in any way toward anything. The brittle wont sift the sand any, but the sandsifter spends most of the day underneath the sand in one spot or another. You might check into these.

HTH,

Avoid the blue linkia completely.
I have had good success with chocolate chips and various serpents, but you need to supplement their foraging by target feeding small chunks of frozen/thawed shrimp once a week or so from a stick.

I have a sand sifter and a red brittle star. Both are awesome in my tank and haven't caused any problems. The brittle star is awesome for cleaning up the leftovers in the tank!
