Set this up over the past week. I used filter media and some gravel and water from my 55 gallon so hopefully I am not going through a cycle. Need to get some more test equipment to make sure though. Anyways I just have the Beta and 6 Amano shrimp in there now and I was going to move 5 cories from my 55 gallon into here....you think that is overstocking? Need to move the cories cause they are getting harassed too much in the 55.

wow, thats a great looking setup! unfortunatly i cant tell you about overstocking or not (i personally dont think it would be... but no quoting me) :)
but i wanted to give you mad props on the tank! looks awesome

I think that if all you added was the cories, it would be ok?
I guess you would have no other choice, though, if they are getting beatten up in your other tank...

knashash ... nice looking tank.... the sand looks great...
And thats one happy Betta.....

Thank you......I went with sand after reading how a few posters loved it so I gave it a try and I must say I am pleased with the results. Hopefully the plants will dig it...I put a good layer of laterite on the bottom as well. was a big bag of tube sand from home depot for $3...cant beat that!

Great looking tank!

One of my favorite setups is a 10 gallon planted with a betta and some cories. Very beautiful and entertaining :) I say go for it and enjoy!
