aqua chargers

has anyone used aquachargers? they claim to speed up new tank cycling, because they come with bacteria on them. anyone have any experience with these or anything similar. anything that will pseed it up would be great

Usually stuff like that is just a gimmick with little to no affect on your tank at all.

I think it's a gimmick also.

A friend of mine got these about a 1 1/2 months ago. He started his fishless cycle about a week before me. I ran into some problems and still finished before him.

I cycled a 150 w/ 2 canisters in a little over a month. Well he has a 55 w/ 1 cannister and just finished. I gave him some used media to seed his tank like mine. The only difference was that he added them Aqua Chargers in there also.

So if you ask me it was a waste of $8.
