wanting ot see what you people thought. i am being told that with a 70 gal tank i can put in 6 TANK BREAD clown fish as long as they are all put in at the same time. the breads i am looking at are black and wight, yellow strip maroon, and the ocellaris. i would like mating pairs of all three types. and the local lfs said that would not be a problam if they are all tank bread and that are all placed in at the same time. other fish i am looking at would be fire fish, and neon goby, and bicolor pseudochromis.

If they were all the same species I would say you would be fine, but I would be hesitant about mixing species of clownfish. If you were to add six ocellaris, one would become the female, one would become the male, and the rest would remain juvenile. But I dont think it would work that way with mixed species. Do some more research, I may be wrong. Don't forget, some lfs are just looking to make the sale.

Don't mix clowns someone is bound to die. I like clowns to but IMO I wouldn't add three different species to a 500 gallon let alone a 75. When they hit puberty you'll end up with a pair of maroons they are really aggressive . I'm afraid to say the only way you can pull that off is with three tanks.
As to adding 6 at the same time of the same species well that's pretty risky to. If they are juvenile they might work things out but, expect some losses. If the lfs store told you that it's easy to house 3 species they are either misiformed or just wanting a sale. I'd verify any other information that they give you.
