First off, I've got little white creatures, about the size of a pinhead, on the glass in my 10 gal. I used the 10gal to cure some live rock before putting it in my main tank. I now have a couple of small pieces of live rock and a pair of oscellaris in it. I know that they are probably copepods, but could they be anything else that I would have to worry about?

Secondly, I have a turbo snail with a strange attachment. At first I just thought his shell was misshapen, but upon closer inspection it appears to be another shelled animal attached to his shell. I can see little antennae coming out of it. What the hell is this? Is it something to get in a tizzy over? It is about half the size of the turbo snail's shell. I want to pull it off and see what it is, but I am resisting the urge so as not to injure either animal.

Also, the clowns are sick. They have some sort of parasite which I am treating with a reef safe med.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated!

There are a lot of tiny white, leggy things that will hang out on your glass. Probably a mix of copepods and isopods, maybe even amphipods. All of those groups have parasitic species, but the ones on the glass are just grazers and scavengers.

The thing on your snails sounds like a vermetid snail. They have a coiled shell, and can be found attached to almost any surface in the tank. Harmless suspension feeders that catch food by secreting a net of mucus.
