Do you add any anti-fungus med to help the eggs?

Yep they worked out great for my Dempsey she loves them... I only have a few left in the tank....next time I get some I'm gonna get a large jar for them and see if I can get them to breed more before I give some for treats. And thank you again for all the information and help.

Do you add any anti-fungus med to help the eggs?Did I nope, I didn't have any but I will next time they lay eggs. THis was their first time so I don't think that the male did his part. All the eggs turned white, but at least I know I have a male/female and can tell them apart now.

How do you tell the male from from the female. I know you have at least one female because eggs were laid. Was the 'male's' tube showing well at spawning?

Thats a good question and I did see his "tube" also, and it was very different from the females, I have breeding convicts and HRP so I can tell the diference once they start to breed and also if I look closely at the two fish I can tell some physical differences....which might not mean much. I'm gonna try and give them their own tank, so they can be conditioned again.

The female's tube is thick and blunt. The male's is much thinner & smaller and almost comes to a point. These tubes show only when breeding.
