as of this morning it looked like the eggs were turning white. :sad
but this was their first spawn so maybe next time they will get it right.
 
Do you add any anti-fungus med to help the eggs?

Yep they worked out great for my Dempsey she loves them... I only have a few left in the tank....next time I get some I'm gonna get a large jar for them and see if I can get them to breed more before I give some for treats. And thank you again for all the information and help.

Did I nope, I didn't have any but I will next time they lay eggs. THis was their first time so I don't think that the male did his part. All the eggs turned white, but at least I know I have a male/female and can tell them apart now.

Thats a good question and I did see his "tube" also, and it was very different from the females, I have breeding convicts and HRP so I can tell the diference once they start to breed and also if I look closely at the two fish I can tell some physical differences....which might not mean much. I'm gonna try and give them their own tank, so they can be conditioned again.
