What is your opinion of Stress Coat?

i used it until i ran out of the bottle, then bought something else.. but its a great product, you can use it for ages untill you run out, just be carefull and dont use more than like a drop per gallon, if you have sensitive fish, you might just want to forget it and use a product that has more exact measurements...
I won't use it either. It will dechlorinate water... but it contains a bunch of junk that I don't care to expose my fish to. Like aloe vera. Fish do not need aloe. It's great if you burn your hand in the oven, but fish don't require it.
I prefer simple dechlorinator, or Amquel or Prime if water contains chloramines.

I've used it quite a bit solely because it was the cheapest available dechlorinator in this are for a while. I have no real love for it, but can't say it caused me any real trouble either. Don't buy into the hype about the aloe, and definately don't double dose it.

Stress coat is really good at satisfying the need we sometimes have to DO SOMETHING,. I've never had it harm my fish.
I nearly snarfed a Diet Coke with Lime there for a second. And, FWIW, I agree with RTR.RTR said:
You should gargle with Stress Coat. The aloe will soothe your mucous membranes that were acidified by the Diet Coke.
