Overstocked or What?

6 Zebra Danios (1/2 Inch) – ;) (will be moving to a 10 gal tank next week)
2 Zebra Danios "Long Fin" (1/2 Inch)
4 Platies (1M - 3F) (1/2 Inch)
2 Siamese Algae Eaters (1.5 inch)
2 Ded Dwarf Gouramis (1 Inch)
4 Tetras (1 Inch)
4 Molies (1M - 3F) (1 Inch)
4 Clown Loaches (1.5 Inch)

In a 72 Gal Planted tank..

Can I add 2x1.5 Inch Angels. :o

Using the 1 Inch rule I can add 72 Inches of fishes right ... :D (Just Kidding)

Size wise, a pair of angels would be fine, but I don't think they'll mix well with the gouramies or danios--they tend to prefer calm tankmates, not zippy fish like danios, and gouramies and angels are known to fight.

If you're keeping your ph around 7.0 I don't see why not. Mollies prefer a more alkaline ph, and angels prefer a more acidic ph, but both will be fine in neutral.

The 4 clowns is the only thing I'd be worried about. You can keep them for quite a long time in your 72, but depending on how thickly planted it is, you might stunt them. Just make sure you find them a good home when they eventually start to get too big for your tank (they grow to 12"+).

Also, Angels have been known to pick off tetras, or other small fish, so use caution when mixing these two types.

i thought long and hard about the clowns.. the are my fav fish..

i see them as a way to get a bigger tank :)

I had to take the Zebra Danios out of my 55 gallon this weekend. They had nipped the tail fin almost completely off one of the Angels I added late last week.
