I'm not too wild about the habanero ones either.

The other flavors are downright addictive though. I'm not a candy eater but I can tear up the JB's ;)

JB have been the one candy that I've always loved. Started spending my allowance on them when I was about 7...$1.75 got a pound at the local candy store. Pink grapefruit is my favorite, though I like almost all of them. I'm just amazed at the things you can buy at that store! And the 'deluxe' bean of the month club--holy cow! Pricy!

Of all the flavors, I like the pink grapefruit best also. Next fav is honey dew or whatever the melon flavor is. Then bannanner.

EARWAX, DIRT, SPINACH, GRASS, BOOGER, SARDINE, BLACK PEPPER, EARTHWORM, SOAP, and SPAGHETTI.

GACK!!! My kids had them, I remembered the booger and earwax but not the rest of them. I like sardines :D I don't remember trying the rest of them.

Tried most of the Potter beans--some are okay (pepper, with the margarita flavor beans is tasty), while others are just nasty! I have to say though, the roasted garlic--not part of the Potter series--is my least favorite. I love garlic, but just don't like it in a sweet candy.

Wow, talk about inflation. From $1.75/lb to over $9/lb. !! And people beyotch about the price of gasoline!?! :confused:
Just what in the world warrants nearly $9.50/lb for candy? :eek: Sorry BSG, I'm pretty fond of you, but I'll pass on chipping in for this one.

Yeah, I'm whiney about the huge price jump as well. :( I don't think other candies have jumped in price nearly as much.

Would you perhaps settle for some pinto beans? Ok, maybe they're not quite as colorful as jelly bellys, but:


they're a LOT less expensive,
you can add spices to create your own flavors,
they're much more nutritious,
if you eat enough, you can have loads of fun farting the rest of the day! :D

Glad someone was able to come up with the Bernie Botts flavors..I'd have to go raid one of the kids rooms to find the bag. :D They mention several flavors in the books that I don't think are in the bag.

I like the JB flavors relating to coffee...chocolate...vanilla..and booze.
