I have 4 (1 male, 3 female) blue zebras and 5 SAE in a 30G planted tank.

Paramenters
PH=7.5 (cichlids came from LFS with 7.6PH)
Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = ~2ppm (adding for plants ever so slowly)
KH = 17
GH = 21
CO2 = ~16.128

Symptoms
She stays at top left of tank and stays there, not horizontally, but vertically. It looks like she gasps for air, but that is all it looks like. No other fish bother her, the male chases the other two females while they dig holes in my gravel under rocks. It also does not look like she eats because food passed and she did nothing. Eyes look good, like the others. Color is darkend in areas not like zebras, like she might be cross bred (grrr).

I do not have a hospital tank, is this means to invest in one?

Any ideas?

Thanks so much

that's a small tank for those fish..SAE's get about 5" and the africans get about 6". It might be that she has internal paristies or that she has ammonia poisoning from the LFS.When did you get them?
