Can anyone point me to a web page that lists the common names for Plecostomus catfish by size? If not, can anyone give me some recommendations for small 'showy' pleco that loves driftwood (4 pieces!) and can live out its whole life in a 20 gal?

I'm not interested in Bristlenose. That's the only answer that ever seems to come up, but I know there are others. I have investigated as much as I can but without a good reference to size it's very difficult picking out the ones that'll work. The Emporer Pleco looks like a winner but I don't know what it's eating habbits are. Is it an algae eater or more omnivorous like the Zebra pleco?

Much Thanks!

Planet Catfish (http://www.planetcatfish.com) is probably your best bet. You can't sort them out by size, but you can sort them out by common names.

Short list of options:
Queen Arabesque
Clown
Rubber Lip
L028
King Tiger
Leopard Frog
Starlight Bristlenose (very cool looking)
Flash

Just to name a few.

Lobo.

if you keep a clean tank and dont have any mildly aggressive bottom feeders then a gold nugget would be cool, and it would love the driftwood, especially if theres some growth on them

clown pleco is a good choice for a small pleco which enjoys wood.
