I was in my local fish store yesterday and I noticed that they had frozen beefhearts and frozen mosquito larvae. The frozen beefheart package said it helps promote growth. Is this true? My other question is would either one of these be good to feed Cardinal Tetras and Rummy Nose Tetras?

I forgot to mention above that I already feed my fish frozen bloodworms, tropical fish flakes, zucchini, and algae wafers. With this be suitable enough or would it be good to supplement them with the mosquito larvae and beefhearts also?

A varied diet is always best. I feed my fish, frozen B-shrimp, m-larvae, glass worms, tubiflex worms, ect (all frozen).
Beefheart to me are more for bigger fish (discus, angels, ect).

Yeah, a varied diet is never a bad thing. I feed my fish, shrimp, bloodworms, flake and tubifex worms. I'd go with the mosquito larva, but pass on the beef heart.

I thought glass worms and mosquito larvae were the same thing?
