I 've looking around and have been checking out pygmy chain and dwarf sag and was wondering if either of them stay short or is there something else that I should be looking at.I have some microsword and its alittle taller than I figured on for my 20 gal tank.
Maybe that is his experience, but I've had several Java Ferns reaching upwards of 8 or 10 inches! The moss will grow as long as you let it, but usually doesn't get more than a couple (maybe 3 or 4) inches in most people's tanks.
Some low plants would be some of the smaller crypts (pretty easy to keep too). Maybe Wendti or Willisi varieties. Also Quadrifolia (4 leafed clover) also stays pretty low in a tank (below 3" for sure in my experience.)
ergo, your post is a bit off topic, but A.barteri nana requires low light and is a relatively easy plant to keep. All anubia should be shaded in brighter light to keep the algae build up on their wide leaves to a minimum.
maverick, if you want to spend the extra money and be patient, C. Parva is very low growing and makes a nice foreground plant, but takes a lot of time to develop.
Oh sorry. I see I messed up those links. I should have checked it. They were suppose to be links to Glossostigma elatinoides which is why I asked about the light and Hemianthus which is why I asked about the work. Seems those links are internal to Tropica.
