I just got some cories and dont know exactly what kind they are. They have a black stripe over their eye followed by a light pinkish stripe then another black stripe and from there on down to thier tail they are silver with black spots. Any ideas on what they could be?

I think that is it.
How many should there be in a school? I have three. What is a good type of food to feed them?

3 is ok but a schoal of like 5 pr 6 would be better but no big deal. Feed them pretty much anything that sinks or evemtually will sink. I feed mine bloodworms,blackworms,flake,brine shrimp and spirulina discs.

I agree, cories work very well in groups of 5-6.
