Hey all,
I have a 6 month ol male gold dust molly who has had popeye on one of his eyes for over two months. Im pretty sure it was caused by high nitrates but i fixed that and moved him to his own five gallon with almost perfect water conditions and treated him with maracyn, maracyn two and again with marycyn but nothing worked. Other then the weird eye he is in great condition, big, healthy, nice colouring, active, eating, huge fins; and when if first noticed the popeye he seemed healthy too. I just read somewhere that perhaps this could be a side effect of fish TB?! so im obviously a little freaked out, but i have had him in with other fish for a bit ( i had to take him out because he was aggressive) and the other fish are all fine.
