pic of the tank

Here's my planted tank, warts n all.

I've ben wanting to rearrange everything, and start over after studying amano's books and picking up on my deisgn missteps, but I'm a few weeks away form a major move, and figure I should save the stress of replanting for the move-in.

Note the green spots algae on the bigger, older leaves. pleco wont touch it, snails n shrimp don't care either... I threw 3 otos in there, we'll see.

Not bad for a very low-light tank, eh?

Cool:) The picture is a little dark, though. I'd like to see some tall grass along the back (like a crypt retrospiralis or balansae) and some more anubias nana and some petite nana. Since you're taking it down to move (wise choice in waiting until after to fiddle with it), that doesn't matter:D

If that green algae is hard, the otos won't touch it either. Otos only eat soft algaes like the brown diatomous gunk that covers walls and leaves.

Let us know how it turns out when you redo it.
