Is it ok to feed baby Piranha bloodworm and beef heart and other types of food 3 times a day??

3 times a day seems a bit much for the piranha... But the bloodworms and beef heart are OK...

Soon to be 8 piranhas? I would get scared of my hand being eaten up!

3xday = too much...When they were babies, i fed them every 3rd day, now i feed them every other day....I When My RBP's were babies, I fed them cichlid pellets and frozen brine shrimp...this is the best diet for them at a very young age...

I'm not familiar with piranhas, but generally for preds, 3 small meals in one day while they are babies is better for them than 1 large meal in once a day.

Bloodworms are good, but try to feed the beefheart sparingly. AFAIK, fish have a hard time digesting terrestrial proteins. Try other seafood such as cut prawn or shrimp, any market fish, squid or silversides, and try to get them to accept pellets as well.
and earthworms
Once they are larger, you can feed them every other day, or even every third day

Every other day is the best option for baby piranhas, keep in mind that Piranhas can go a week and a half before starving...Piranhas strive when fed meat. You should keep up the meat feedings, but when it is time for them to eat live fish, you will know cuz they will begin to show aggression towards tankmates. Also, feeders should only be fed to them once a week.

I believe you mean "Piranhas THRIVE when fed meat"...

And you should BREED your own feederfish, never feed a fish to the piranhas if even ONE of the feeders are sick. I would quarantine all feeders for a week or two before I consider to feed them to the piranhas.

Piranhas also go after dead or INJURED fish more often than having to chase after live fish.

Finally, all fish do have hard times swalling tallow and animal fats, which fish don't have. If you are going to feed meat when they are adults, do it sparingly, like twice a year... It'll mess up ur filter and tank if you do it too often and can mess with the fish's internals. Also, after a hearty meal or a large fish or something, don't feed them for 2-3 days.

I see you belong to p-fury, i don't know what they say there, but most forums say generally meat isn't the best. But, i don't keep piranhas, so i wouldn't know specifically about them.

Might as well not feed them meat at all if you feed it that occasionally. What i meant by sparingly was once a week, or twice a week max.

I do not feed them that much meat either(beefheart every 3rd feeding and cichlid pellets for all other feedings), and only feeders once every 6th feeding (every 12 days)....and yes spartan, if only once or twice a year, than it is useless to even give them meat
