10 Gallon...

6 gold white cloud minnows
4 Endlers Livebearers
2 Albino Cory cats

I know from reading that Cory cats should be in groups of at least three, but mine are extremely happy and comfortable, so I am leaving it at that. This combination does break the golden "one inch per gallon" rule, but with small, hardy low waste fish.
The cory cats are well established, as are the endlers. I have two gold white clouds now, and would like to up it to six.
Comments?????

A good amount of people will say that anything other than dwarf corys are too big for a 10 gallon. However, ive heard just about as many people say that its fine, and keep them in 10 gallons just fine. If you think about it, the albino cory gets up to 2 inches. A platy, which, as far as i know, is a very common community fish that is kept in smaller sized tanks, also gets up to 2 inches.. Plus they dont appear to be very messy fish at all. (please correct me if i am wronge about the platys.. they are fine in 10 gallon tanks right?

Sounds fine.

I'm sure you have good filitration.

I've kept bigger fish in a 10 gallon.

I think thats fine too :p !! They are such small fish that I think 10g is plenty of room for them. Make sure you have a cave or something for the corys to hide in, mine like to hang out in large bell I bought, (but its a 60g tank!), also have plans for the fry you'll probably get, or do you plan to let the filter take care of them?! My LFS never has endlers, I don't think I get much of a variety around where I live, not sure why!!

The filtration is an aquaclear 150 with two sponges and a bio-bag. Thanks for the replies! I figured that the minnows would be mych happier with a school, and it should get rid of some agression with one of them. He acts like a real bully!!
