Yo Yo Loach "Shadowing"

I have five yo yo loaches in two different tanks and they all tend to engage in what I call shadowing of other kinds of fish- like your kid brother following you around. They stick right to the side of the other fish for several seconds at a stretch and it is clear the other fish don't particularly enjoy it. Is this common yo yo behavior or are mine just badly behaved?

Yes, they constantly pester my Angel fish to the point where one of them died from starvation. What size tanks do you have them in? I am going to move them to my 72 gallon soon so hopefully they will leave the other fish alone.
