K. SOOOO.....

Well, yesterday I traded my peacock eels for a nice blue ram, and a really cool whiptail catfish.

So now, just look in my sig, see what I got in the 55 in my room, and tell me this:

Could I put another blue ram in there, and maybe a pair of Kribs?
I'd really love to do that...but I dont know about the compatibility of everything. IME with kribs, they always seem to pick on other fish...but I think the sharks'll be too big to pick on, same with the silver dollars. The ram(s) may be victimized, but the cat's wont.

What do yall think?

The columbian sharks aren't compatible with the tank, or the tankmates (they'll eat everything else except maybe the raphael and the silver dollars if they're large enough).

Without the catfish in there, I don't see a problem with adding more rams. You're right though, the kribs will victimize the rams. I had a pair of rams, and a pair of kribs in an 80g and the kribs wouldn't leave the rams (or each other for that matter) alone. Even with plenty of hiding spots, the kribs just happen to have bloodthirsty personalities, lol.

They, as with your snowflake moray in the other 55-gallon, also require brackish salinity (a progressive increase to marine levels would be ideal for the former).

Rams tend not to do well in tanks with aggressive fish. They can be a bit aggressive towards thier own kind if you have a pair with a "third wheel" ram in with them...but they tend not to bother other fish and don't handle aggression from others very well. They stress out pretty easily in those types of situations.

They need other peaceful community fish if you want them in a community tank.
