I was wondering would a 180g tank, plus stand be able to be on an upstairs floor? This tank will be 72L 24W 24H, so the weight will be distributed over a 6ft area. I don't want to break the floor.
Thank you

Some floors, yes, some floors, no. None of us can magically tell you with this much information. Maybe telling use what year your house was made in could help. Or if you can possibly contact the builder of your house (easier if it's newer) you could inquire. Definitely alot of weight though...be sure before you get it! 180's are beautiful tanks :)

1 litre of water weighs approx 1kg. 180 g is roughly 681litres so it would weigh 681Kg or..... 1499 Lbs (approx)
or... 107 stones (imagine 10 average people standing in a 6ft area!)

hope that helps

That's just the water.

Don't forget to add for tank, stand, equipment, etc. You'd more likely be a bit over 2000 lbs, or more than a ton.

It depends on what kind of support you're putting it on. I'd do a bit more research and consult a professional before I subjected my home to something like that.

Tell us more about the floor, but even then it will be hard for one of us to say ,'yeah no problems go for it'. Your best bet would be to find out who built the house or if that is impossible , get the house blueprints and take it to an engineer who knows about loads and materials, or if you know some one who can do it take it to them.
