Okay so this may just be another paranoid reefer but I have 4 problems in my tank that I would like you all to look at, my water parameters are all zero 81 degrees 1.025 and 400w 10k mh, fourth in my series of questions is what can I do for what I think is a sick goniopora, I bought him from the lfs and didn't notic till I got home that on the back side part of it was dead or dyeing or whatever, so I put it under high current for a bit, dead stuff came off, but in this area as was before the tentacles there have a brown hue to them when compared to the front of the little guy which is bright green, hasn't gotten any worse or better in the 3 weeks or so I have it. what can I do to fix it. Please see pics attached.

It looks like algae to me . I'd really question if my test kit were reading correctly if I were you. It looks like you have a c.c. substrate in the tank. IMHO C.C. is usually the death of a reef tank . It acts sort of like a kitty litter box that never gets changed and toxins ,"nitrates", build up in your water. It will also pull down ph and kh as stuff rots . From looking at your four problems post I'd say this is the probable cause of at least this and the algae issue . Oh wow you have an anemone in c.c. yeah it's not happy they should only open their mouths to eat or poop. It's kind of saying :help:
I also don't think that your test kit is reading correctly . I'd say from the algae growth die off of coraline etc that may be a large portion of the problem.
I'd get rid of that c.c. fast you'll be a much happier reefer.

Thanks for the help but I don't have c.c. I have sand from the lfs. I got the second opinion from the lfs about my levels all 0, just don't know what to do since the post my lta has closed his mouth like a steel trap and looks great now, about a week before this problem I had feed him 2 lg silversides and he has since then pooped out more brown balls than I would like to count. but looks great now, as for the corraline die off thats not what worried me as this rock is from a buddies tank who had the die off, I put it into my tank since I have ABSOLUTELY no problem growing this stuff-scrapping it off all the time- the weird things is, is that I am growing the same glowing green algae thats on the lta condy and goniopora.

hair can be kind of hard to get rid of man. Try adding a few more snails etc. and doing spot scrubs in a bucket of s.w. It might take a while for you to win. Sorry about the c.c. that's just what the pic looked like.
