Does anyone have a list of Marine acronyms? What is LFS, LTA, SCI, VO, MH, OSI, FBI, CIA, BFD....JK on the last four.

LFS = Local Fish Store
LTA = Long Tentacle Anemone
SCI = (escapes me at the moment)
VO, = Should be VHO I think, stand for Very High Output (a type of lighting)
MH = Metal Halide (a type of intense lighting)
dsb= deep sand bed
fo= fish only
fowlr= fish only with live rock
sg= specific gravity
b.b.=bare bottom
sp= spelling or species

Hmm maybe we could make this one a sticky at least on the marine newby forum. I'm sure that there are more that are escaping me at the moment
